Businessmen Manus McConn (left) and William Clark of Green’s Pizzeria and Conor Cafe & Bar, Belfast, recently handed £5,500 to Friends of the Cancer Centre to help support cancer patients and their families in Northern Ireland. The money was raised through the proceeds from the sale of a calendar entitled ‘Images of Hope.’
The calendar featured different prints per month of work and also includes many distinguished pieces from leading artists from Northern Ireland.
Artists with their work featured in the calendar, include: Barrie Cooke, Hughie O’Donaghue, Brian Ballard, Andy Warhol, Jackie Crooks, Albert Irwin, Breon O’Casey, Neil Shawcross, Richard Croft, Basil Blackshaw, and Mark Francis.
