Sisters Karen Gibney and Denise Shields, joint proprietors of the Barista Coffee House and Sandwich Bars in East Belfast and Newtownabbey, are holding the second year of a series of Random Acts of Kindness throughout December for unsung heroes who deserve public recognition.
On the day of the first Random Act of Kindness takes place (Wednesday, December 4) the sisters, who share a congenital health defect, explained their motivations in an article in the Life Section of the Belfast Telegraph.
